Rose Scented Geranium Leaves
20 Leaves per punnet (and the occasional flower in summer months).
Rose Scented Geranium leaves have an intense rose perfume which is stunning when baked into cakes, when muddled or infused into cocktails, when use to flavour desserts, to make a rose scented syrup or simply to garnish rosey dishes.
They are also a lovely fragrant addition to garnish wedding cakes.
Layer the leaves in the bottom of a greased baking tin before adding the cake batter and then bake as usual. Carefully peel of the leaves leaving the sponge to have a heady rose perfume.
